Fresh, clean nose with yeasty, white fruit (apple) and citrus aromas. This is a fresh, light-bodied sparkling Albariño with lime notes. Good as an aperitif. 88 points

This was the first sparkling wine made from Albariño. Following the producer’s style it comes in a bright blue bottle. As it is the case with Cava, the second fermentation is done in the bottle but with barely nine months of aging the price seems a bit high compared to more complex, longer aged Cava. It has nonetheless found a niche in Galicia’s market. Aniseed, herb aromas followed by a light syrupy touch. Young, light and easy-to-drink, it is a little sweet and bitter on the finish. 87 points
