Deep ruby colour. Textbook pyrazine (mint and green pepper) notes from this variety with lots of ripe fruit (blackberry, blackcurrant). Enveloping texture over a fruit-driven palate with liquorice notes and oak tannins on the finish. An interesting wine to see the evolution of this grape variety in the bottle. 90 points
