Pale gold colour. Ripe apples and aniseed aromas dominate as it displays more complexity than the standard barrel-fermented white Rioja. It has good volume and acidity on the palate with well-integrated oak. A pleasant white for autumn which can be paired with pork, chicken and mild dishes. 90 points
