Carignan comes mostly from the villages of Bellmunt and El Lloar in southern Priorat with some grapes sourced from a plot in the cooler area of Porrera. Deep ruby colour. Plenty of black fruit notes in this mineral, slightly warm red with a pleasant texture and some dark chocolate on the finish. It needs some time to fully develop in the bottle. 93 points
