Ruby colour with garnet rim. Dark fruit, undergrowth, tobacco and spicy aromas with the familiar roasted red pepper notes usually found on Mediterranean Cabernet. Juicy palate with fresh blackcurrants that balance out the oak; minty note shoeing on a long finish. A bit different from your usual Rioja but a lovely approach towards Bordeaux. 93 points
