This is part of Codorníu’s new premium range of single varietal, single vineyard Cava. It comprises three high quality wines with residual sugar (11-12 gr/l) but this one was pretty dry. The vineyard is really distinctive, one of the highest in Penedès (610m) with slate soils. Golden colour with greenish hue. Sweet fruit and brioche aromas with fine toasted notes. Lively and juicy on the palate with the fruit shinning bright. Persistent and with lovely bitterness on the finish. 93 points
