2014 was one of the earliest harvests on record for Belondrade, second only to 2015. Temperatures were high but grapes were very healthy. This is a rich white with stone fruit, aromatic herbs and smoke aromas with an opulent, almost fleshy palate. There’s still some oak to integrate and it will benefit from some cellaring, so better to wait a few months before uncorking the bottle. 91 points
