Garnacha grown at 600 metres of altitude on red and yellow clay soils. It is fermented in concrete vats with stems and aged in 1,400-litre foudres. Medium ruby colour. Ethereal and mineral with plenty of Mediterranean herb aromas (rosemary, thyme). Don’t expect a powerful red; this is a mineral wine that really reflects the landscape it comes from, even if there’s a slight tannic feel on the finish. Long finish. This is a good vintage indeed for Sant Antoni, better in my opinion than 2011. 17.0 points
