Grapes are sourced from three hillside vineyards (750-850 meters of altitude) planted with 50 to 70-year-old vines. The wine is fermented with stems and aged in 500-litre French oak barrels. Medium ruby colour. A step up from Treintamil Maravedíes, it displays an even more fragrant and aerial character with trademark red fruits (pomegranate, forest berries). A good example of the style found in Gredos, the wine is almost light but packed with mineral/briny notes that build to a long finish. 17.0 points
