This wine hit the headlines after Wine Spectator ranked it sixth in its influential Top 100 2015 list. Deep ruby colour with purple rim. Black fruit, red meat, toasty and minty aromas are followed by a powerful palate packed with perfectly ripe red and black fruit. Even though oak is not fully integrated on the finish, the wine displays bright acidity. A good example of the style favored by this producer, who usually looks for power but without losing neither balance nor freshness. 17.0 points
