This is an extremely powerful wine that needs to be cellared for a few years. It comes from the oldest ungrafted vines grown in the renowned Pago La Jara vineyard. Deep purple colour. Highly complex and concentrated nose with plum jam, cedar and liquor aromas. Big, rich, opulent palate packed with bags of black fruit and toasted nuts. A markedly earthy finish bring authenticity to this wine, which clearly strives for expression, rather than perfection. 17.0 points
