A blend of 50% Maturana Blanca and 50% Albillo Mayor (locally called Turruntés), the wine comes for a young vineyard in its second year of production. It displays exotic apricot and pineapple aromas and a honeyed edge. There’s plenty of acidity to balance the oak and some glycerin too. It lacks complexity and persistence but given that it is an unusual blend, it’s worth following how it develops in future vintages. 15.5 points
