This wine comes from one of the first vineyards planted by Riscal in Rueda; it appears on the label as seen from the sky by Google. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts and the wine is aged some five months in contact with its lees. Intense and complex nose with white fruit aromas and aniseed nuances. It shows depth and vibrant acidity on the palate with a lingering citrus character. Outstanding stuff that will probably age finely for two to three years. 16.5 points
