This is one of my favorite labels. It laughs at the pompousness which is sometimes found in the wine world by depicting a bouncy castle on the label. Great value and a perfect introduction to Gredos’ Garnacha. It comes from 50 to 70 year-old vines planted in El Real de San Vicente (Toledo). Medium-light ruby colour. Red fruit (pomegranate), herbs and sweet spices (cinnamon). Lively and savory palate with kirsch and earthy, yet well wrapped-up tannins. Terroir and purity at an affordable price. 15.5 points
