Deep ruby color with purple hue. Explosive aromatics in this Rioja, with intense, well defined red fruit and a pleasant minty background. Much fresher that you’d expect from the 2012 vintage in the area. The oak is hardly noticeable; instead expressive fruit notes dominate the palate; still young as it has just been released, but pleasant to drink.
