This wine comes from a selection of low yielding Mencia. Over 30% of the wine was aged in stainless steel tanks in order to preserve the grape’s crisp character. Deep ruby colour. Concentrated, seasoned fruit (blackberry, plum) and eucalyptus. Deep and structured, it displays an earthy character with firm yet ripe tannins. It will benefit from some cellaring time. It could also work as an entry wine to Galician reds for drinkers of structured Tempranillos. 90 points
