High altitude vineyards mark the difference in this wine --Tempranillo comes from the Sonsierra area and Garnacha from old vines in Badarán in the cool Alto Najerilla Valley. Bright ruby colour. Fine, crisp red fruit and strawberry candy aromas. Savoury, fresh, juicy and lively red with a distinctive earthy note that adds character on the finish, yet tannins are smooth. Really refreshing. The blend and mix of terroirs are decidedly new and exciting for Rioja. 90 points
