This is a rather extreme wine, the result of fermenting together two adjacent plots, one of them planted with Tempranillo, the other with white Viura, which represents between 30-40% of the final blend. Medium ruby colour. There is a marked citrus character which is rarely found in a red wine and acidity is very high, yet it is expressive and shows persistence. A wine to lay down and try several times over the next few years. 90 points
