Medium ruby color. This is a mineral, terroir-driven yet affordable red. An entry-level wine, it offers lots of juicy red fruit reflecting the fresh 2013 vintage in Rioja. It’s flavourful and deep with a salty finish which adds persistence on the finish. The icing on the cake is the amusing label evoking the 'tentenublo', the name given to the bell ringing used to fight off hailstorms in some Rioja villages. 16.0 points
