This Grenache blend is planted on slate (60%) and clay (40%) soils with 25% of grapes fermented with stems. Medium ruby color with purple rim. Ripe red fruit (blackberries and kirsch) aromas give way to some minerality on the background. There’s also plenty of fully ripe, juicy fruit on the palate with foreign varieties playing their part, yet it feels like an approachable introduction to the region. 88 points
