Deep ruby colour. High alcohol and concentration dominate on this single vineyard wine. Somewhat closed on the nose, it opens up offering almost overripe black fruit (plums and dried figs), nuts and roasted aromas. On the palate it shows an unexpected acidity along with very ripe fruit notes. It may change with some additional bottle time but this is not my kind of Ribera right now. 15.5 points
