Grenache planted on schist soils. Medium ruby colour. A textbook Priorat on the nose (mineral, aldehydes, nuts). This is a hot, powerful and richly-textured red showing balsamic notes that bring some freshness and offset the alcohol. Well-made but not for the faint-hearted given its high alcohol. 90 points
