Deep ruby colour. Ripe fruit (plum and blackberry), dark chocolate (a touch of After Eight) and dried fruit (hazelnut) aromas make for a complex and balanced nose. It shows ripe fruit on the palate reflecting a hot and dry vintage, but this is serious stuff that will improve; just give it some more time in bottle. 16.0 points
