Medium to light ruby colour. Earthy notes and roasted skins prevail over the fruit (kirsch), there's a balsamic, pharmacy-like character too. This intense Garnacha fills the palate with ripe fruit and earthy nuances. The wine is rather warm, slightly tannic and with a metallic edge on the long finish but somehow it manages to achieve balance thanks to its distinctive character. Terroir-driven. 91 points
