Passion for Spanish wine

TASTING NOTES

world

Perpetual 2019 Tinto

Bodega Torres Priorat, Priorat

This wine is made from old vines, over 80 years old, mainly Cariñena. They are located in different villages of the region (El Molar, Bellmunt, El Lloar, Torroja and Porrera). A small proportion of Cariñena stems are used in the fermentation and the wine is aged in foudres and new French oak barrels. The depth provided by the old vines makes this wine stand out. It's firm and concentrated, yet elegant and nuanced, with plenty of blue berries and Mediterranean undergrowth; an excellent Priorat. 17.5 points
