The challenge of bottling 10 years after the harvest was met with four and a half years in concrete and five and a half years in Caucasian oak barrels. 2012 was a year of accumulated drought, resulting in powerful, very ripe wines. Time has brought balance in this wine. There is still black fruit, with fine spices and mint aromas. This is a long, complex and silky red with remarkable freshness despite its 15% abv. Gorgeous and unusual. 94 points
