A great finding. This Prieto Picudo comes from the Jamuz Valley, a neglected area tucked away from Leon's major wine-producing regions where this variety is not widely planted. Following a low-extraction approach, the wine displays a floral, spiced character (rose petals, pink pepper). It’s lively, aromatic, with a long peppery, slightly wild finish. Less than 1,000 bottles have been made in this first vintage, but this is a style to keep an eye on. 17.0 points
