It's always a pleasure to drink Belondrade y Lurton in an outstanding vintage. This is the sort of wine to enjoy all the way through. It has an expressive, well-defined nose that is almost exuberant but as pure as a spring, with aromas of white and stone fruit, fennel and hay. There is plenty of wine on the palate: round, firm, with a crunchy texture and fine bitterness on the finish. Excellent, reasonably priced for what is on offer and widely available - around 100,000 bottles produced. 18.0 points
