This new single-vineyard by Norrel Robertson reflects the elevation (950m), slate soils and humid, mountain microlimate where it grows. Grapes are sourced from a 0,95 ha plot in Torrijo de la Cañada (Calatayud) but it's made outside the DO. It was partialy fermented with whole bunches and aged in a flextank egg. Very light ruby colour, with moderate alcohol for the area, lush herbal notes (almost reminiscent of vermouth) and a dry, lively palate. Light, almost ethereal and truly different. 17.5 points
