2018 was a cold, rainy year that has resulted in a wine that perhaps lacks the structure of previous vintages, but is packed with fine, evocative herbal and spiced nuances -the aromatic character shows both the nose and the palate. This a juicy red with very discreet oak and grainy tannins. It may not age for as long as other vintages, but it so enjoyable, balanced and reminiscent of those fresh vintages of yesteryear. 17.0 points
