This red wine shows the potential of blends in Rioja. Garnacha from Rioja Oriental, Mazuelo from Nájera (Rioja Alta) and Tempranillo from Laguardia (Rioja Alavesa) in almost equal portions are aged in concrete to express the region's modern, vibrant side. Think of lively spicy aromas mixed with Garnacha's herbal nuances and a youthful and serene, oak-free palate. A Rioja that is more in tune with the grapes and meant to be enjoyed (and very much so) on a regular basis. 16.5 points
