In the Sherry Triangle, people often talk about the "terroir of the bodega". There is no better way to experience this than tasting two different bottlings of Manzanilla aged by Barbadillo in the same bodega -the magnificent Arboledilla, which houses most of the Solear solera butts. The veil of yeasts is weaker in this one, drawn from the east-facing butts, so the wine is less creamy, sharper and more persistent. It was bottled "en rama" (unfiltered) after five-six years of ageing. 17.0 points
