This is the first release of Verum’s second terroir-driven Airén. Grapes are sourced from several plots planted on sandy-loam and limestone soils. This white is less structured than Las Tinadas and has moderate ripeness (white fruit). It displays bright acidity on the palate and an interesting chalky character on the finish. The wine is fermented with indigenous yeasts sourced from Las Tinadas and aged for two months in tinajas (traditional clay jars) plus a further six months in stainless steel 91 points
