The fact that more and more prestigious wineries are making rosé wines is great news for the category. This one from Valenciso is a saigné (only the free-run juice is used) made from Tempranillo grown in Haro and it is aged for nine months on its lees. Salmon colour. Fresh, red fruit, aniseed aromas and an inviting, subtle, finely textured palate that is not devoid of body. A versatile choice that can easily be enjoyed as a light red. 16.0 points
