This wine takes its name from the letters XR (Xtra Reserva), used by the French winemakers who were in charge of the bodega's wines until the 1950s to identify their best barrels. Primarily destined to the on-trade, this is a firm, elegant red displaying complex aromas (spices, herbs, fine toasted nuances). Long and finely textured. 17.0 points
