A perfect wine to discover Montes de Málaga and the minerality of its slate soils. This area, planted to Pedro Ximénez, was the source of the prized "mountain wines" of yesteryear, but sadly very few vineyards remain. Extremely old Pedro Ximénez grapes are blended with 10% Moscatel from the Axarquía region nearby and aged 10 months with its lees. Floral notes, white fruit and dry stone aromas and a fresh, consistent palate (only 11% abv.) with pleasant bitter nuances. 16.5 points
