This wine reflects the unique nature of an ungrafted vineyard grown in a hot area and at one of the least elevated points in Jumilla. Despite these challenging conditions, the vines perform very well thanks to the complexity of the soil (sand, limestone and some clay) and their location in a shaded area. This is an elegant, balanced wine with fine tannins, brandied fruit aromas and subtle oak. A Mediterranean red worth looking out for. 16.5 points
