One of the best value for money reds in Bierzo, particularly considering that grapes are sourced from vines over 60 years of age, and that it holds the "vino de paraje" (lieu-dit) distinction. It is fresh and bright with aromas of wild red berries and hints of forest and tree bark. Juicy and fruit-driven with restrained oak and truly pleasant to drink. This is the sort of great little gems that Spain delivers. 91 points
