We love the new Mas Doix white and how balanced it is in terms of grape varieties (Garnacha Blanca, Macabeo and Pedro Ximénez), winemaking techniques (aging on its lees in oak and stainless steel tanks), soils and fruit. Complex nose with citrus and white fruit, dry stones and aniseed aromas and an enveloping, beautifully textured palate with acid and sweet nuances and the warmth of the region's slate soils on the finish. A serious white that is worth following to see how it develops with time. 17.5 points
