This is traditional txakoli at its best with a little help from some hundred-year-old vines. The few red grapes intermixed in the vineyard with Hondarrabi Zuri are pressed together with a little Chardonnay (8%) which was planted at a later stage. Beyond the classic spritzy character and the area’s distinctive acidity, this txakoli is complex and consistent. Floral, citrus, hay aromas and amazing saltiness. You cannot get much closer to the sea in a glass of wine. 17.0 points
