A textbook example of Fino aged in El Puerto de Santa María, one of the three cities in the Sherry Triangle together with Jerez and Sanlúcar de Barrameda. This is dry and briny as other Finos, but also austere with distinctive tar and petrol notes that add lots of character and some bitterness on the finish that rounds it off. The ageing in this case conveys a sense of place. 16.5 points
