This wine is more concentrated than La Cóncova, the other single-vineyard red produced by José Gil, and with darker fruit. The colour is also deeper with violet hues. Ripe fruit and kerosene notes are pleasantly offset by vermouth-like herbs. This is a full-bodied red with ripe, slightly sweet fruit but it also feels fresh and pleasant. Really well made. 93 points
