2018 was an excellent vintage in Ronda and in the vineyards of Cortijo Los Aguilares. The abundant winter rain was followed by a mild summer and a textbook cycle that was ideal for their Pinot Noir, the most challenging grape variety in the estate. Clean, fine nose with red berries and herbs (pomegranate, sour cherries, nettles). Juicy, aerial palate with good acidity. Perhaps not particularly complex, but utterly delicious. 17.0 points
