It seems that the new owners (Alma de Carraovejas purchased Viña Meín in July 2019) want the red wine to rub shoulders with their white although production is significantly lower. Rusticity is avoided at all costs, hence the light, herbal, ligneous profile with fully ripe berries. A fresh, easy drinking wine that shows the potential for reds in this area of Galicia. 16.0 points
