At last it can be said: this red wine from Extremadura includes Portuguese grape varieties in the blend. A timely harvest and a soft extraction helped to have a fruit-driven wine with a fresh herbal background. Medium-bodied palate with lots of fruit despite ageing for six months in foudre, vermouth-like herb notes and a pleasant bitterness on the finish. Really easy to drink. 16.0 points
