Oak is gradually playing a secondary role in many of Spain's white wines. In line with this trend, only 20% of this Albariño was aged in oak so the finest aromas of this variety are present (briny notes and fennel) together with the character of the lees. Oak is very subtle on the palate too. This is a complex white with vibrat acidity. It will develop well during the coming months. 16.5 points
