Following the advice of Denis Dubourdieu, producers Carmen Enciso and Luis Valentín are very happy with the way their grapes are fermented and briefly aged in Caucasian barrels. The oak is very discreet and allows Viura and Garnacha Blanca to express themselves with finesse (hence the aniseed and fennel aromas). Despite its concentration -the 2017 vintage came very early and berries suffered from frost-, the wine is fresh and vibrant, with enough tension to evolve during the next few years. 17.0 points
