Half of the grapes are sourced from old vines, the other half from younger, head-pruned vineyards. The fruit is usually macerated prior to fermentation. The wine is aged in barrels of various capacities ranging from 228 to 600 litres. The style is remarkably floral and fragrant with plenty of red fruit. Mouthwatering palate with a silky texture and really fine tannins. It manages to combine depth and elegance at the same time. A wine that is worth every cent. 91 points
