The first vintage of this easy-drinking, fragrant Garnacha with a bit of extra depth from the Syrah in the blend. Grapes are sourced from La Dehesa vineyard in the village of Méntrida, in the vicinity of the winery. Around 35% of the fruit was fermented with whole bunches and the wine was aged in foudres and barrels. Sweet red fruit and violet aromas on the nose are followed by a savoury, well-defined, balanced palate. A well-made red and a smart buy. 16.0 points
