The Palacios family owns around 10Ha in Moncerbal but less that 3Ha are destined to this single vineyard red: those with a colder exposure and shallow soils showing a higher concentration of silicate and quartzite which explain the wine’s distinctive minerality. The complex nose combines floral, earthy and herbal notes. The wine has notable volumen, but it feels extremely round and textured showing forest and citrus fruit leading to a marked sapid finish. 18.0 points
